I
went to Monaco
I
caught the train from Cannes ..
it took me about an hour and a half travelling along the beautiful cote d'azur to arrive in Monaco
I
absolutely loved it! It was a Sunday afternoon so as you can imagine the place
was deserted apart from a few tourists wondering around while the whole
population of 36 thousand must have been enjoying their Sunday lunch :)
I
visited the exotic garden (Jardin Exotique) which is a must see! The views are
amazing and the garden is a peaceful and cool place to be. Another attraction is
a walk inside the mountain(never in million years would I think that I would
come to Monaco
and go inside the cave)
A
bit of info about the Principality of Monaco . Bordered
by France on three sides, with one side bordering the Mediterranean Sea, its centre is about 16 km (9.9 mi) from Italy, and is only
13 km (8.1 mi) north east of Nice, France. It has
an area of 1.98 km2 (and a
population of 36,371) making Monaco
the second smallest, and the most densely populated country in the world. The traditional national language is Monégasque, now spoken by
only a minority of residents
For
my lunch I went to Stars’n’Bars where I munched on fish and cheese chips and drank the most horrendous drink ever…coke +
vanilla ice cream (which
according to my bf is the best drink you can get) I could not help but laugh about the look of it…it looks like
muddy water with floating brown foam….but
heyy it is tasty! (if you close your eyes)..again according to my
bf it’s a famous American drink :) ..I reckon it
will go down well with salty pop-corn in
the cinema xxx
